Credit Card Security

The CountryMe website processes Visa and Mastercard payments through the secure payment service provider DPS (Direct Payment Solutions). DPS hosts and manages the credit card payment page. SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) is also used which means all sensitive information is encrypted to protect your privacy. CountryMe does not hold and cannot access your credit card details.

This information collected will only be used in accordance with this Privacy Policy. CountryMe may amend this policy every now and again, through updating this page. What does CountryMe do with the information gathered through our website?

We also like to contact our customers to conduct market research, all to ensure you are happy with what we do! This helps us to customise our website in accordance with what interests you. Information collected about you is dependent on how you use the CountryMe website. You may choose to control what personal information we collect by doing the following:

  • If you are asked to fill in a form on our website, check the box which indicates that you do not want your information to be used by anybody for direct marketing purposes.
  • You can also email us directly at amber@countryme.co.nz and request to be removed or unsubscribed from our mailing lists.

 

CountryMe will not release your personal information to any third parties, unless required by law or with your permission. At any time, you may request details of personal information which CountryMe hold as per the Data Protection Act 1998. If you wish to do so, please email amber@countryme.co.nz. Please also note a small fee will be incurred.
